Our national league is run in districts or regions. Clubs participate in a local league. The winners of these local leagues go through to the National Finals, a one-day event.
As the sport grows further there will be regional finals to decide who goes to the National Finals.
The VX season runs from January-May with National Finals in the third weekend in July
National Champions will go through to the UK Club Championships which are held in October
Alongside the leagues we have a National Knockout. At the moment this is a one-day event but the long term aim is for this to be run over the year by running knockouts on a regional basis with the final few qualifying for the final event.
The Knockout Festival takes place in the 3rd weekend in June and currenty features Junior and Senior teams.
Alongside this we run V4 Tournaments at the festival for our younger players - Imps, Cadets and Juniors
Schools and local authorities are now looking to interschool VX Tournaments - for example there was a very successful Primary School Festival held every year in Ripon. This stopped when the School Sports Partnership disappeared. However, there has been such a demand from the Primary Schools that it has been reinstated and is hosted by our National Centre of Excellence at Ripon Grammar School.
